Job description
Sales Strategy & Planning:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the MICE segment to achieve revenue goals.
• Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify business opportunities.
• Work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing to align MICE sales efforts with overall hotel sales strategy.

Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and travel agencies.
• Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and site inspections to promote hotel services and facilities.
• Negotiate contracts, rates, and terms with clients to secure business and ensure customer satisfaction.

Revenue Generation & Target Achievement:
• Meet or exceed revenue targets for the MICE segment by identifying and capturing new business opportunities.
• Manage the sales pipeline and ensure a consistent flow of MICE business into the hotel.
• Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to maximize occupancy and revenue from group bookings.

Event Planning & Coordination:
• Work with internal departments (e.g., F&B, Operations, Banquet) to ensure the successful execution of MICE events.
• Oversee the planning and delivery of events to ensure they meet client expectations and hotel standards.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues during event execution.

Team Leadership & Development:
• Lead, mentor, and develop the MICE sales team to achieve individual and team goals.
• Set clear performance expectations, monitor progress, and provide coaching and guidance.
• Conduct regular sales meetings and provide updates on team performance, goals, and initiatives.

Marketing & Promotion:
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote MICE services through targeted campaigns and initiatives.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to represent the hotel and build industry relationships.

Reporting & Analysis:
• Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
• Analyze sales data and make data-driven recommendations to improve the MICE sales strategy.
• Monitor budget and ensure that sales activities are cost-effective and generate a strong ROI.

Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the hospitality industry with a focus on MICE.
• Proven track record in generating MICE business and achieving sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing sales teams.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, event planning, and revenue management.

Job Type: Contractual, Part-time

Location: SCO-65 Swastik Vihar, MDC, Sector 5, Panchkula, Haryana, India

Salary: ₹10,000 - ₹12,000 per month based on your expertise.

Job Overview:

Shaping Career Education Society is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic trainer/teacher with a diploma or degree in Hotel Management to deliver skill-based training under the Hospitality Skill Development Project. This government-backed initiative that aims to equip students with practical and industry-relevant skills in hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver comprehensive practical training to students on various aspects of hotel management, including housekeeping, food and beverage service, front office operations, etc.

- Prepare course materials, lesson plans, and conduct both theoretical and practical sessions.

- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback for their improvement.

- Guide students through hands-on training and ensure their participation in practical learning.

- Stay updated on industry trends to offer relevant and up-to-date knowledge.

- Ensure compliance with project guidelines and maintain training records.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Diploma or Graduation in Hotel Management (or related field).

- Previous teaching/training experience in hospitality management is preferred.

- Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including housekeeping, food & beverage, and front office.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work with diverse groups of students.

Contract & Work Hours:

Part-time, contractual position with a monthly salary of ₹10,000 - ₹12,000.

Flexible working hours (to be discussed).
