About us:
ConveGenius has been awarded VSK Projects across multiple state governments. This involves leading the VSK Project related deliveries as well as aiding the State Govt. Officials with articulating their vision for VSK and acting as a bridge b/w the State's Aspirations and Convegenius.
The Project Manager Role is a Business Development domain role as it focusses on expanding the Business Opportunities for CG in the State by channelizing the State's Education Deptt. ambitions into viable projects / technology implementations.
An ideal candidate will have a blend of Consulting and Govt. Sector experience as well as an eagerness to work within a start-up environment, and a long-term commitment to the development of the education sector in India.
​​Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Take ownership of the VSK project and manage it end-to-end, lead a high-qualityteam and effectively break down workstreams and ensure high-outcome orientation
Prepare strategic roadmaps and implementation plans with goals and milestones - for the State Education Deptt.
Develop and manage strong working relationships with the key bureaucrats at the state level - with a focus on bringing in more business / projects for CG
Collaborate effectively with the internal teams as per the needs of the program
Manage day-to-day operations and liaise with the state to ensure the required buy-in, inputs, permissions and resources are made available
Develop comprehensive reports, decks, and case studies on the programs and share regular updates with management as required.
Required Qualification, Skills and Abilities
Bachelor's or equivalent degree from a top-tier institution,
At least 5 years of relevant work experience in Consulting with some managerial responsibilities and a track record of excellence,
Familiarity and exposure to the field of education and educational technology,
Excellent program, stakeholder and team-management skills including the ability to connect with people across lines of difference,
Extremely high analytical, synthesis and problem-solving abilities,
Work under tight deadlines in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment to achieve targets independently and under pressure,
Good research, writing and communication skills and comfortable representing the program externally,
High level of flexibility and responsiveness to organisational requirements,
Management/ strategy consulting background,
Skilled in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Data crunching and analysis
