Early Years Practitioner - Primary School in Walthamstow

Are you an experienced Early Years Practitioner with a level 2 or 3 EYFS qualification looking for a rewarding role in a supportive primary school? Tradewind Recruitment is working closely with a fantastic primary school in Walthamstow, Waltham Forest, to find a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join their team from October 2026.
• Please only apply for this role if you have at least 6 months experience working in an early year's environment and have the relevant Early Years qualifications

Position Details:
• Job Title: Early Years Practitioner
• Location: Walthamstow, Waltham Forest
• Start Date: October 2026
• Salary: £14-£15 per hour, dependent on experience
• Hours: Full time 8:30am-4pm, Monday to Friday

About the Role:

In this role, you will be working with children aged 3-5, fostering a love of learning through engaging and creative activities. You will be supporting their social, emotional, and educational development, providing a nurturing, and stimulating environment. The school is well-regarded for its strong focus on early childhood development, and they are looking for someone passionate about contributing to the growth and wellbeing of young learners.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Additionally, you will work closely with the class teacher and support staff to ensure each child receives the individual attention they need to thrive.

Requirements:
• A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, or equivalent
• Experience working with children in a school or nursery setting- minimum 6 months
• A good understanding of the EYFS framework
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A passion for early childhood education and child development
