Position Overview:

We are seeking a creative and passionate Assistant Fashion Designer to support our design team in developing innovative and sustainable fashion collections. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of style, and a commitment to ethical fashion practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the research and development of new designs, focusing on sustainable materials and eco-friendly practices.
• Collaborate with the design team to create sketches, mood boards, and technical drawings.
• Help source sustainable fabrics and materials for collections, ensuring alignment with our brand values.
• Participate in fittings and adjustments to ensure proper fit and style of garments.
• Stay updated on fashion trends and sustainability practices to inform design decisions.
• Assist in preparing presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the production process by providing design specifications and assisting with sample creation.
• Contribute to a collaborative and positive team environment.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• A strong portfolio showcasing design skills and creativity, particularly in sustainable fashion.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) and technical drawing.
• Understanding of sustainable fabrics and ethical fashion practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Passion for fashion and a commitment to sustainability.
