Finance Assistant |Hybrid

Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to work for a company based in Guildford, Surrey. The Finance Assistant will work closely with the Accountant, being part of the finance team with everyday accounting and financial reporting. This is a hybrid working Finance Assistant - Assistant Accountant role and a great varied accounting opportunity.

Salary: up to £32,500 per annum

Location: Hybrid working 2-3 days office based, Guildford - Surrey.
• Due to location, own transport required. Parking onsite

Hours: 8am-5.30pm Mon - Fri (flexible)

Finance Assistant - Assistant Accountant duties:
• Assist in the preparation of financial analysis, statements and reports
• Support with month end
• Preparing journal entries and reconciliations
• Manage the invoicing and payment processing
• Assist with the budget and forecast process
• Maintain the accounts, monitor transactions and update financial systems

Skills and experience:
• Experience of working in a similar accounting - finance role
• Good IT skills and accounting software experience such as; Sage
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
