Job description
Job Title: Azure Cloud Architect
Experience Required: 6+ years
Location: Remote
Role and Responsibilities:
1. Solution Design:
- Translate business needs into technical solutions on the Azure platform.
- Create architecture diagrams, documentation, and plans.
2. Azure Services Expertise:
- Deep knowledge of Azure services (VMs, databases, AI/ML, networking, security, IoT).
- Choose suitable Azure services for project requirements.
3. Scalability and Performance:
- Design scalable and performant solutions.
- Utilize Azure Auto-Scaling and load balancing.
4. Security and Compliance:
- Incorporate Azure security features and best practices.
- Configure Azure Security Centre, Azure Key Vault, and ensure compliance.
5. Cost Management:
- Design cost-efficient solutions.
- Optimize resource utilization and implement budgeting and monitoring tools.
6. Integration:
- Seamlessly integrate with on-premises systems, other cloud platforms, or third-party services.
- Use Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus).
7. High Availability and Disaster Recovery:
- Design solutions with redundancy and failover capabilities.
- Use Azure Availability Zones and Azure Site Recovery.
8. Monitoring and Optimization:
- Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
- Continuously analyze performance metrics and cost data.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams (developers, infrastructure specialists, business stakeholders).
10. Documentation and Training:
- Create comprehensive documentation.
- Provide training and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
11. Continuous Learning:
- Stay updated with Azure's evolving services and best practices.
- Invest in continuous learning.
12. Compliance:
- Adhere to Netcare organizational policies and procedures in all actions performed.
• Desired Skills:
- Experience with middleware (Kafka, NServiceBus, Camunda, Dremio, RabbitMQ).
