Self Employed NVQ Level 2 Qualified Fire Door Installer|Carpenter

Job description
We are urgently looking for an experienced (NVQ2 minimum qualification) self employed Fire Door Installer / Carpenter to work with us on an ongoing contract installing fire doors and carrying out remedial works to doors within local care homes. Preferably applicant should hold a CSCS Card, and must have current public liability insurance. CRB and Asbestos awareness would also be of benefit. This is a fixed term contract (2no homes = approximately 1 month) within the Colwny Bay area of Wales, but we also have a huge workload of regular jobs throughout the UK for anyone wishing to join the team and who would be happy to travel and work away. Immediate start. Good rate of pay (starting rate for trial period only, pay to be adjusted following satisfactory trial) and working conditions. Must have own transport and well maintained tools. Travel expenses and accommodation (where required) will be paid. As you will be working with elderly and vulnerable people you should be respectful and considerate, exemplary behaviour is a must.

We cover all aspects of passive fire protection, including the installation, upgrading and maintenance of fire doors, sealing of services passing through fire compartment walls, floors and ceilings, installation of fire barriers and curtains in roof spaces, along with carrying out fire compartmentation and fire door surveys.
