Responsibilities
Schedule: M-F, 8am - 5pm
Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
Manage monthly close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
Oversee the preparation of regulatory reports, including Call Reports and other compliance documents
Collaborate with internal teams to provide insights on financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement
Assist in the annual audit process, coordinating with external auditors and ensuring timely completion of requests
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure the integrity of the general ledger
Support the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for cost reduction
Provide mentorship and training to junior accounting staff as needed

A Vancouver, WA - based company in the banking industry is seeking an experienced accountant to join their team ASAP! This is a contract opportunity lasting 3-6 months.

Schedule: M-F, 8am - 5pm

Pay: $75,000 - $+0,000 annually DOE

• CPA or CMA certification is preferred but not required.
