Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
8-10 years of accounting experience, with two years managing
Responsibilities
Reports to the CAO/Corporate Controller managing month end close and accounting reporting and operations
Drive the monthly and quarterly close process, including maintenance of close calendars and checklists, review of journal entries, account reconciliations and analysis of results for the US and international subsidiaries
Manage, coach and mentor a small team that is responsible for cash, prepaid expenses, other assets, fixed assets, accruals, and expense classification
Perform accounting research, ad-hoc requests, and provide technical guidance, while facilitating the accounting team’s commitment to timely and accurate processing of accounting transactions in accordance with GAAP/IFRS
Own the monthly consolidation and inter-company reconciliations, ensure the compliance of the international Services Agreements, and oversee the relationships
Liaise with FP&A and business partners to generate, record, reconcile, and maintain accrual balances and assist with monthly budget versus actual analyses
Application of ASC 842, Leases
Equity-based compensation accounting
Support internal/external audits of the company’s financial statements, including preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor questions and requests
Review, update, and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with parent company and business unit policies
