About the Role:


Reporting to the Financial Controller, we are now seeking a motivated Dealership Accountant to join our Warwick Farm team full-time.


Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day and month-end accounting across several franchises, and supervise one Assistant Accountant.
Prepare and analyse profit and loss statements for multiple franchises
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions
Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
Preparation and assistance with monthly Business Activity Statement
Responsibility for maintaining and submitting financial reporting to manufactures
Mentor and manage workflows for an Assistant Accountant
Ideally you would have:

Experience as an accountant in the automotive industry is preferred but not essential.
Experience with automotive accounting software such as Pentana preferred.
Advanced skills in use of Excel essential
Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organisational and time management skills
A willingness to learn and continuously develop your skills
