This is a large primary school that are warm, friendly and welcoming and the staff team work closely together to support all pupils.

We currently have a new opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic full-time Early Years Teaching Assistant

The post involves supporting children in the classroom, working with small groups and providing some one to one support. Teaching Assistants work closely with the class teacher to support the learning of all children in the class and the role is varied, interesting and offers the opportunity to undertake additional training. Apprentices are supported by a mentor and time will be provided out of the classroom in order to complete required activities to achieve a Level 3 qualification.

The successful Early Years Teaching Assistant will assist in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of the Headteacher, SENDCo and Class Teachers. Teaching Partner posts include supervision of children for part of the lunch break.

Candidates should be in sympathy with the ethos of a church school.
