Our client is a well-known technology business with significant operations globally. They have an established legal team in India that focuses on supporting various product offerings through digital platforms/services.

We are searching for a new Technology/Payments focused lawyer.

Work Focus
• Transactions/Commercial: 70%
• Products: 30%

Job Description
• As a key member of the products team, you will work closely with both development and sales teams, with a view of supporting on commercial advice for the India and the wider APAC market.
• You will offer support to new business lines which focus on innovative technology as well as cross-border regulatory projects (given in a commercial and concise format)
• Support ongoing growth of business units where revenue and growth are still in the double digits. This work includes complex commercial agreements, licencing, product development, product launch and new market initiatives
• You will manage regional projects which cover a variety of senor stakeholders from key divisions, regionally and internationally.

Requirements
• 10 - 15 PQE
• Excellent education background and ideally Tier 1 law firm training
• Open to candidates direct from law firms who possess strong TMT experience, ideally with secondments
• Lawyers with a mixture of reputable law firm training in a TMT practice and In-House experience - preferred
• Strong technology background in digital products / commercial transactions - desirable
• Excellent stakeholder management skills - essential
