Job Title: Accountant

Location: Crawley, West Sussex

Role: A dynamic and growing organisation committed to innovation and excellence based in Crawley are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis, ideal for an active studier within ACCA/CIMA or AAT. Due to the urgency of this role we are keen to explore candidates available immediately or ideally on a short/1 month notice.

Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Analysis: Assist in analysing financial data to support decision-making processes and identify trends that impact the business.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Contribute to the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights and recommendations.
• Reporting: Prepare and maintain financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Cost Management: Monitor and analyse costs, identifying opportunities for savings and efficiency improvements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to gather financial data and provide insights that support business operations.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing studies in finance.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with dynamics is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks within an ever-changing business.
