DevOps Cloud Architect

Job description
Responsibilities:
• Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of scalable cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to meet the evolving needs of our products and services.
• Quickly grasp and understand the existing product and system architecture, and leverage GCP services effectively to optimize performance and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable and secure cloud architectures that align with business objectives.
• Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of cloud-based systems by implementing best practices and monitoring solutions, adhering to industry standards and compliance requirements.
• Actively participate in DevOps practices to automate deployment processes, infrastructure provisioning, and monitoring workflows, utilizing DevOps tools and methodologies.
• Responsible to automate and streamline the IT operations and processes around product deployment and releases.
• Should have experience in optimizing IT costs with best DevOps practices.
• Communicate with the Client to understand infrastructure challenges and risks and be able to propose solutions and a roadmap for transformation
• Lead teams by example to create self-service, fully automated build infrastructures that reduce friction in the development process and improve the quality of customer application portfolios.
• Develop and implement software delivery standards, policies, and procedures in collaboration with client teams and partners to prioritize software configuration needs.
• Conduct performance analysis and optimization to enhance the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of cloud-based services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions accordingly.
• Develop and maintain APIs, microservices, and other components necessary for cloud-based applications, focusing on scalability, availability, and security.
