Job Description

This is a remote position.

The Senior Manager, Monitoring, Learning, and Evaluation (MLE) will support the MLE function in the implementation of MLE systems and processes across health programs. This position is responsible for coordinating MLE activities, ensuring accurate data collection, and contributing to program learning initiatives. The role involves collaboration with field teams to maintain data quality and generate insights to improve program delivery. It offers the opportunity to influence project outcomes through hands-on involvement in monitoring, learning, and evaluation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
• MLE Support: Assist the Sr Director MLE in the design and implementation of MLE frameworks for various health programs.
• Data Collection & Management: Oversee the collection, storage, and management of program data, ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Reporting & Analysis: Contribute to the preparation of reports and analysis for internal stakeholders and donors.
• Learning Support: Help identify lessons learned and best practices from program implementation to improve future activities.
• Training & Support: Provide training and technical support to program staff on MLE tools and methodologies.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Work with field teams, partners, and external evaluators to support ongoing MLE processes.

Requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, International Development, Social Sciences, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

 Experience:

5+ years of experience in MLE roles within global health or development projects. Previous experience working in the nonprofit sector or with international organizations is preferred.

 Skills & Competencies:
• Familiarity with data collection methods, MLE tools, and reporting techniques.
• Experience with MLE software and tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, or similar platforms).
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work with diverse teams and adapt MLE processes to field conditions.
• Basic knowledge of donor reporting requirements and compliance standards.
