Job Description
We are looking for a go getter and a customer focused individual to join our Dubbo branch.
As a store person, you will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory, and assisting in providing exceptional customer service via face to face, over the phone or by email.
If you have an interest or prior experience in the warehouse and looking for a chance to further develop your skills or career, then this is the role for you!
What your day looks like?
Process orders – confirming order slips, pick and pack.
Receive, check and store incoming goods including booking of freight on company computer.
Provide great customer service, assisting with enquires and processing sales.
General warehouse duties as required.
Attend to receiving and dispatching of stock.
Operate forklifts – loading and unloading when required.
Manual handling
This position will be reporting to the Branch Manager.
Who are we looking for?
Proven warehouse experience within a similar role, experience using a forklift would be desirable but not essential.
Valid and current driver licence is required (Minimum have a provisional licence)
Good verbal and written skills
Computer literate at an intermediate level
Ability to multitask and priorities your workloads.
Ability to participate in ongoing training and be open to new ideas.
Proven safety and quality focus & perform assigned duties in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with Company's Health & Safety policies & procedures.
Willingness to work as part of a team, and do whatever is required, to help achieve business targets.
