Administration Officer - Central Contact PointService Delivery Directorate

About the roleThe Central Contact Point Administration Officer ensures the efficient function of the Central Contact Point regarding information sharing requests, exchange of information and High-risk Birth Alerts as outlined in the Children & Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act 1++8 within Western NSW Local Health District.

This role assists with the planning and organisation of daily activity to promote the smooth operation of the Central Contact Point, including activities such as data base management; processing and monitoring requests within timeframes and deadlines; managing telephone inquiries and email correspondence and liaising with, providing support/ advice to clinicians regarding information exchange requests.

You will be required to perform the necessary functions to ensure that the legal requirements for release of information are met including accessing required Health record systems.
