Position: 7.5 Tonne Driver

Rate: 15-18/hr

Location: Croydon

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle for the transportation of goods to various destinations.

Load and unload cargo, ensuring safe handling and securement of goods.

Maintain accurate delivery records and adhere to scheduled delivery times.

Represent the company in a professional manner, providing excellent customer service.

Conduct routine vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues promptly.

Requirements:

Valid UK driving licence with Category C1 entitlement.

CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification and a valid Digital Tachograph card.

Minimum of two contactable references.

Previous experience driving 7.5 tonne vehicles or in a similar role is preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility to work weekends and extended hours during peak periods.

Working
Hours:

Minimum of 10 hours per day, with the potential for extended hours (up to 12 hours) during busy periods.

5 days a week, including weekend work.

Typical shifts may last up to 10 or 11 hours per day, and successful candidates may be required to start immediately following the induction process.
