HGV 1 Driver | Monday to Friday |Afternoons

Job description
Our client, a large manufacturing & logistics company based in Mallusk are currently hiring a HGV 1 Driver to work Afternoons/ Evenings. This position will be permanent after your probationary period based on time keeping, attendance & performance.

Position: HGV 1 Driver

Location: Mallusk

Duration: Temporary to Permanent

Pay Rate: £15.63 per hour

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday (Starts times typically between 12pm to 3pm, can be flexible)

Typically 8 hour shifts

Flexibility may be required based on customer orders & business demands

Duties Will Include (but Not Be Limited To)
• Load vehicles for deliveries ensuring health & safety regulations/procedures are adhered to including weights and safe loading.
• Ensure tracking procedure is used at all times.
• Maintaining the driving hour's rules & regulations regarding tachographs/Working Time Directives.
• Completion of paperwork, delivery notes signed & dated etc.
• High Level of Customer Service, aiming to exceed Customer Expectations at all times.

Essential Criteria
• Valid UK Clean category C+E Driving Licence
• Minimum of 1 year experience
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph
• Customer focused approach
• Basic Level of Education

Desirable Criteria
• Previous experience in strapping & chaining loads
