Sharp Skips are looking for a dedicated Planner / Driver (Category C) to join their team. This role is a dynamic mix of planning, scheduling, and delegating work to drivers, combined with driving duties to experience the work firsthand. As a Planner / Driver, you will be responsible for: Scheduling and planning routes and tasks for drivers efficiently. Ensuring all drivers are briefed and understand their assignments. Communicating effectively with both drivers and customers to ensure smooth operations. Driving assigned routes to gain firsthand experience and insights into the work. Job details: Position: Planner / Driver (Category C) Pay: £17.00 per hour (standard) / £25.50 per hour (overtime) Additional Pay: £20.00 daily attendance bonus Hours: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday (Saturdays on an ad-hoc basis) Job Requirements: Valid LGV Class 2 Category C Driving License. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently. Efficient Scheduling: Ability to schedule and plan work efficiently for drivers (knowledge of local areas is preferable).
