Job Description

Patient Scheduler
Tucson, AZ (Remote)
Contract to Hire

Responsibilities:
• Handle inbound calls from patients seeking to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and provide assistance.
• Make outbound calls to patients to schedule appointments, follow up on missed appointments, and provide appointment reminders.
• Efficiently manage a high volume of calls while maintaining a professional and empathetic demeanor.
• Collect patient information accurately and enter it into the scheduling system.
• Optimize scheduling efficiency by maximizing provider availability and minimizing gaps in the schedule.
• Follow scheduling protocols and procedures to ensure accurate and consistent scheduling practices.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient concerns, resolving scheduling conflicts, and ensuring patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other team members, such as medical assistants and administrative staff, to coordinate patient appointments and services.
• Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of scheduled appointments, cancellations, and rescheduling.
• Adhere to privacy regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Stay updated on clinic policies, procedures, and service offerings to effectively communicate information to patients.
