Job Description

Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our esteemed team at PREMIER THERAPY, a highly regarded, privately-owned therapy services provider. With over 21 years of exemplary service in senior living communities across Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York, we are proud to be a leader in enhancing the quality of life for residents in skilled nursing facilities. This full-time role will be based in Nazareth, PA.

Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with our therapy team and interdisciplinary professionals to deliver exceptional care.
• Provide education and support to families regarding therapy objectives and processes.
• Engage in facility in-services and educational initiatives to promote continuous improvement.
• Attend care planning conferences to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.
• Conduct home assessments to ensure safe discharges for residents.

Required Skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficient in collaborating effectively with therapy and interdisciplinary teams.
• Experience in family education and care planning.

Qualifications
• Certified as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Relevant experience within a skilled nursing or therapy environment is preferred.
• An Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy Assistance.
