Rate: £80 - £120 per day
Hours: 8:30 – 15:30

Are you passionate about supporting young people with complex learning needs? We are recruiting a SEND Learning Assistant to join a dedicated team at a specialist school in Ilford, catering to pupils aged 3-1+ with Severe and Complex Learning Needs (SLD/PMLD). In this role, you’ll be pivotal in helping students overcome barriers to learning and thrive in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support pupils with severe and complex learning needs in their educational development.
• Work closely with the teaching team and therapists to provide targeted interventions.
• Assist in developing pupils’ communication and emotional regulation skills.
• Help create a safe, sensory-friendly environment that supports students’ learning.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Experience in a SEND environment (desirable but not essential).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for working with young people with complex needs.
