Overall job purpose
This is a public facing reception post.
This post involves developing, implementing, maintaining and improving administrative services within our practice and to support the accounts team to enable the timely processing of deadlines. .
Key duties and responsibilities
The role involves demonstrating strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and adopting a proactive approach to developing skills, to show initiative, an ability to manage priorities and their own time to include:
1. Making and receiving telephone calls and emails.
2. Helping to set up and improve administrative processes for the accounts team.
3. Undertake administration tasks as required including diary management, meeting co-ordination, incoming and outgoing post, scanning, helping progress the electronic filing systems, yearly tax return letters and updating the WIP log.
4. Other duties may include stationary orders, creating new client packs and setting up new clients on our data base, bank deposits, ensuring our data base is up to date with client information and AML documentation, AML checks, archiving old data and any other duties that we require.
Hours and pay
This is a part time position with hours to be agreed with the candidate.
Pay dependent on experience, to be discussed at interview.
