Role: Oracle DBA Location: Offshore / India Duration: 6+ Month(s) Interview: Video OVERVIEW: A Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our SQL Server & Oracle databases. The DBA works closely with developers, system administrators, and other IT professionals to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our database systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in SQL Server administration (5+ years), excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude towards managing and optimizing database performance. QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience. Microsoft SQL Server 5+ years’ experience. Version 2016, 201+ and up. Typical DBA skills performing backups/restores, granting permissions, setting up and maintaining replication, performance evaluation and tuning. Well versed in Always-On Availability Groups (AG). Experienced with implementation of different Encryption/Obfuscation techniques & methodologies (TDE, Always-Encrypted, Asymmetric Keys, DDM, etc.). Experience with IDERA 3rd party administrator toolset a plus. MS Azure Cloud migration planning, assessment, and execution experience. MS Azure Cloud Administration Experience. ORACLE 5+ years’ experience. Version 12c up through at least 1+c, preferably 23c. Linux OS experience with AIX OS version a plus. Typical DBA skills performing backups/restores, granting permissions, setting up and maintaining replication (Dataguard), performance evaluation and tuning. Experienced with implementation of different Encryption/Obfuscation techniques & methodologies.
