Senior Accountant | Public Accounting

Qualifications
Any non-profit experience is a huge plus!
3+ years of experience + Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting, finance, or related discipline
Strong knowledge and experience in public accounting
Strong understanding of GAAP and accrual-based accounting principles
Experience with QuickBooks Online, bill.com, and other accounting software

Responsibilities
In this role, you will perform day-to-day, and month end close accounting activities as well as serving as a business partner and advisor for clients
You will need to manage firm engagements and client relationships to ensure they follow the firm’s quality control processes and procedures
Act as the point of contact for clients
Continuous management of multiple client portfolios requiring in-depth communication with internal and external teams
Ad-Hoc business reports and financial statement generation, review, and analysis
Prepare and review account reconciliations for accuracy and completeness
Review/preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports and statements
Prepare and review recurring and ongoing posting of journal entries
Provide support to outside auditors, tax preparers, and legal teams
