KS1 Teacher - Rochester

Full-time - MPS/UPS - November 2026

We are currently recruiting for a passionate teacher to work within KS1 at a Primary School in Medway, starting after half-term. Both ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply.

The school is a multi-form entry Primary school in Rochester, within a 10 minute walk from the town centre with great access via public transport and on-site parking. The school has been graded Good by Ofsted with special attention given to the behaviour and engagement of the students, as well as a strong Early Years department, setting the children up impeccably for their school journey.

The Role
• Taking on full classroom teaching responsibility within a KS1 class (this is flexible).
• Planning and marking responsibilities.
• Collaborating with the SENCo in implementing intervention strategies.
• Liaising with parents/carers and providing feedback on the learning taking place.

Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching KS1 year groups is desirable but not essential.
• Have good knowledge of the UK KS1 curriculum.
• DBS on the update service is desirable but not essential.
