Engineering Software Developer | Motorsport Manufacturer | Inside IR35
Location: Northampton
Rate: £500 per day Umbrella
Duration: 6 months
Status: Inside IR35 / Hybrid (2 days on-site)
About The Role
A fantastic opportunity has opened up with one of the leading motorsport manufacturers in the world. With the 2026 season underway, our client is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join their Thermofluids Simulation department. This role is critical in continuing the success of the team’s ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop high-quality, maintainable software solutions within project timelines to support the Thermofluids teams.
• Collaborate with Thermofluids Engineering stakeholders to translate workflows into software requirements.
• Work closely with cross-functional software development teams, including Thermofluids and IT.
• Contribute to the improvement of software development best practices, tools, and team culture.
Qualifications
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, Technology, or equivalent.
• Desirable: Formal certifications, especially in information security.
