Bookkeeper - Accounting firm Cheshunt, Hertfordshire£25,000 to £35,000 Butler Rose, public practice is delighted to be supporting our client, a well-established and prominent firm of accountants that are eager to recruit a capable practice experienced Bookkeeper to complement the existing team. Role Requirements -
• Ideally working in a professional accountancy practice environment, you will have proven experience of supporting a diverse client portfolio as well as being highly proficient in the use of cloud-based software such as XERO, Quickbooks and Sage.
• Supporting a diverse portfolio of clients, responsible for bookkeeping, VAT returns, management accounts (if applicable) and other assignments required by clients
• Reviewing the work completed by junior members of the team
• Reviewing and monitoring of accounting and system related reports for accuracy.
• Liaising with clients directly to resolve queries or obtain further information as appropriate.
• Working in close collaboration with the firms Partners and Managers
• Maintaining and developing solid client relations
• Undertaking research/ad hoc projects as appropriate

Person Requirements -
• Consideration will be given to those that are qualified by experience or AAT qualified or late stages
• Ideally practice experience in a similar role to include solid bookkeeping experience of at least 3+ years
• Strong IT skills and knowledge of cloud accounting systems in particular Xero, Quickbooks, Sage
