Location: Ayrshire, Scotland Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

About Us:

Morgan Hunt is currently working with a leading Scottish hotel and hospitality business to recruit a Management Accountant. This company is a leading provider of exceptional hospitality experiences across Scotland. With a commitment to excellence, they offer a diverse range of accommodation and services to their valued guests. We are seeking a talented and experienced Management Accountant to join the team.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and analyse financial reports, including monthly management accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Oversee financial controls and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with department heads to optimize financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist in the preparation of annual statutory accounts.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

Qualifications and Skills:
• A degree in Accounting or Finance or relevant on the job experience.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) or qualification by experience would be preferred.
• Proven experience in a management accounting role within the hospitality industry although not compulsory would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Sage 200).
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

This role is based on-site on a full-time basis in Cumnock, Ayrshire. To be considered for this role you will ideally be based in a commutable distance to Cumnock or be prepared to commute there throughout the working week.
