Assistant Management Accountant

Job description
We are currently working with a large manufacturer, based near Rawtenstall, who are an industry leader in the field they operate across Europe selling household brand names to over 50 countries worldwide. They have recently had a restructure in the finance team, offering internal promotions to develop those in the team, which has created an opening of an Assistant to the Finance Manager.

The Job and Requirements

Working in a team of 8 you will report into the Finance Manager and support in the timely production of their management accounts, including variance analysis to influence decision making. You will have input to the budgeting, forecasting, business partnering operations, and take ownership of production and stock related accounting activities.

This role will suit an ambitious individual who looks to question and seek improvement in everything that they do. A strong eye for attention to detail and the ability to build close working relationships across the business are a must.

The role would be ideally suited to a part qualified accountant, CIMA or ACCA, with experience of working in the manufacturing sector preferred. If you have not yet started your chartered accountancy qualification, you must be AAT qualified, or degree qualified looking to start future studies.

Package for this Assistant Management Accountant job will include a salary of up to £35,000 (potential movement above depending on experience) and a full study package, 25 days holiday, and a good work life balance.
