About the Devonshire Hotels & Restaurants Group

The hotel company within the Devonshire Group is a growing collection of eclectic accommodation with leading edge design, located on the Chatsworth and Bolton Abbey estates in Derbyshire and Yorkshire. We run five hotels - including the recently relaunched Cavendish Hotel at Chatsworth - 2+ holiday cottages, a collection of shepherds’ huts, a spa and a café & event venue. We employ 350 people.

We also offer exclusive use rental of three private family homes - Lismore Castle and Careysville in Ireland, and The Hall at Bolton Abbey, Yorkshire.

About the role

The position of Marketing Manager provides an exciting opportunity to make a real difference and help to shape our marketing plans.

As Marketing Manager you will work closely with the Head of Marketing and the marketing, hotel and estate teams to create and implement a wide range of marketing and communications initiatives, all of which tell the story of our properties and our estates.

The role is suited to someone with a breadth of experience and industry knowledge, who is able to support with strategy and planning, and also take an enthusiastic hands-on role in day-to-day activities.

We are looking for someone who is a creative thinker, an excellent storyteller and has experience of brand support and PR. You will support with managing and motivating the marketing team to deliver day-to-day activity and projects. You must be self-motivated, maintain a positive and calm outlook, communicate effectively, pay close attention to detail and love to build strong relationships.
