Pride Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher
to join our team. As part of our innovative curriculum, you will inspire
students to develop essential cooking skills, understand nutrition, and explore
the science behind food. You’ll play a key role in fostering creativity and
healthy living in a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
Key
Responsibilities:
• Effectively plan lessons that are stimulating,
relevant and well-structured
• Work with members of the Senior Leadership Team in
the development, review and evaluation of the curriculum
• Ensure that all learning equipment is in good order
and available for the delivery of lessons
• Organise a person-centred learning environment
allowing students to take ownership of their learning and ambitions
• Maintain a practical understanding of service
standards and quality improvement initiatives relevant to the curriculum area
• Liaise with members of the support and therapeutic
team and, as appropriate with parents/carers in the support of learners
• Promote good student behaviour
