Job description
We are seeking a full-time native-level English governess to work with two small children in a lovely family, highly recommended and well known to our agency. The family, based in Hampstead Heath, London, needs a governess for their young children aged 4 and 3.

The governess’ role will involve teaching English to the children and working alongside the other household staff.

The ideal candidate will be fully fluent in English with a clear British accent. The candidate should be caring, friendly, active, and positive, skilled at engaging children and helping them learn through play. Qualifications in Early Years, PGCE, Education, or a related field would be advantageous, along with at least 7 years’ experience with a similar age group. The candidate should be comfortable with planning the learning and academic development stages for the upcoming year, being proactive and diligent.

The family occasionally travels throughout the year, and the governess should be ready to accompany the children as needed.
The candidate must be well-presented, as they will be an extension of the family.

The schedule will be 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday
The salary on offer is from £1000 per week
Standard UK paid holiday + sick pay
Initial one-year contract.

REQUIREMENTS:
English speaking governess
Energetic, caring, presentable person with good manners
At least 7 years of experience in a similar role
Excellent checkable references and DBS
Up to date Paediatric First Aid certificate
