Job Overview

We are currently seeking a committed Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to become an integral part of our healthcare team. This position offers the unique opportunity to deliver compassionate patient care under the supervision of a physician, while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including assessments of medical history and physical examinations.
• Execute medical procedures in alignment with your professional scope, particularly focusing on nephrology-related tasks.
• Collaboratively design and implement tailored patient care strategies alongside our healthcare professionals.
• Order, perform, and interpret pertinent diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Instruct patients regarding disease management, prevention techniques, and treatment alternatives.
• Work in conjunction with physicians and specialists to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain precise and current medical documentation through electronic medical records (EMR).

Required Skills
• Strong interpersonal abilities and exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and fellow healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency in English; bilingual capabilities in Spanish are an advantage.
• Capacity to operate both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic healthcare team.

Qualifications
• PA: Must be a graduate of an accredited PA program and possess a California PA license.
• NP: Must be a graduate of an accredited NP program and possess a California NP license.
• Clinical experience of one year is preferred but not mandatory; dialysis-specific experience is not required.
