JOB TITLE: Security Officer

LOCATION: Eden Shopping Centre, Wycombe HP11 2DQ

SHIFT PATTERN: 5 on 2 off, 5 on 3 off, 46 hours per week

PAY: £12.27 per hour

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
• Maintaining a safe & secure environment at all times.
• Acting as a visual deterrent.
• Applying and conducting oneself at all times in accordance to the onsite Assignment Instructions (AIs) and Emergency Instructions.
• Complete report books and all relevant company and on-site paperwork.
• Communicate all Incidents to Security Team Leader/Manager and Site Management.
• Dealing with hostile members of the public to resolve a conflict situation.
• Patrolling and monitoring from a loss prevention aspect.
• Completing Health & Safety checks.
• Communicating with Internal Clients.
• Promoting good customer service at all times.
• CCTV Camera monitoring (CCTV Licensed personnel only)
• Monitoring of the alarm system.
• Knowledge of radio procedures and etiquette.

Person Specification:
• Verbal and written English is essential due to the nature of the business
• Flexible and adaptable
• Good team player
• Attention to detail
• SIA Licence and First Aid qualification is essential
