Qualifications
Be physically fit to perform the demanding work of the trade, including frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds; maximum occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
Occasionally communicate with various contractors and trades to ensure projects stay on time and on budget
Ability to work well under pressure
Strong common sense skills
Excellent organizational, decision-making, and communication skills
Self-starter; able to work independently but also demonstrate the ability to be a team player with a can-do attitude
Able to use basic hand tools
Willing to learn how to read and comprehend blueprints, specification, and project schedules

This is a key position for our growing team and requires someone who is interested in learning the fire sprinkler trade and a desire to start a career in the exciting and sustainable fire/life safety industry
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (and doing well!)
Assist Sprinkler Fitters with coordination and installation of overhead sprinkler systems, fire pumps, standpipes, and hose systems
Attend and participate in weekly job site safety meetings
Willing to travel to local job site locations
Standing and walking for the majority of the workday
Open to learning how to read and interpret blueprints, in order to help install prefabricated fire sprinkler piping
Ability to work under tight deadlines
