Finance Accountant

Permanent Reading/ Hybrid working - 3 days in Office and 2 days Work from home Join our dynamic team in Reading as a Finance Accountant Capex, supporting the Capex Investment Manager in managing and reporting on the company's capital expenditures and fixed assets. Key Responsibilities: Financial Accounting & Month-End Ensure accuracy of Network Capex, including journal entries for accrued expenses and income. Produce balance sheet reconciliations and timely customer billing. Generate monthly Capex, WIP, fixed asset register, and asset retirement obligations by analysing large data sets. Prepare statutory accounts footnotes and provide external audit support. Handle customer-billing queries.

Reporting, Analysis, & Forecasting Produce monthly Capex results with commentary. Identify opportunities and risks related to business activities and capex drivers. Support the Finance Manager with variance analysis and key metrics. Improve accuracy and efficiency in finance processes. Own the Capex financial forecast and collaborate on budgeting.

Experience & Skills: Fully Qualified ACCA/ CIMA Strong financial accounting knowledge and stakeholder management experience. Finance Modelling experience Strong with Excel Strong Data Manipulation experience
