Role Description

A new vacancy exists for an experienced bookkeeper or part-qualified accountant to support the qualified accountants in providing a wide range of services to our clients. Duties will include, bookkeeping, assisting with VAT return preparation, Self Assessment, payroll and a variety of other tax and accounting activities.

This is a very varied role and you will gain exposure to a lot of different areas of tax and accountancy.

If you are eager to learn, great at multitasking and willing to work hard, you will gain a lot from this role.

The role will be primarily based in our office in London Colney with occasional working from home.

We will consider part-time and flexible hours for the right candidate.

We support study towards AAT, ATT and ACCA and a training package is available.

Qualifications
• AAT, ATT, part qualified ACCA or ACA
• Strong excel skills and proficiency in accounting software, particularly Freeagent and Xero
• Practice experience desirable, but the ability to manage multiple clients' requests at once is essential
• Self motivated, conscientious and able to work unsupervised to meet multiple deadlines simultaneously
• Strong experience in bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Property accounting experience beneficial but not essential
• Exceptionally strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary £23,000-£28,000
