Interim Capital Procurement Manager £700 p/d

Role: CAPEX Procurement Manager

Rate: £700 p/d inside IR35

Location: Remote, with occasional visits to Royston

Client: FTSE 100 Chemical & Sustainable Technology firm

Role Overview

An interim Capital Project Procurement Lead to support on £multi-billion Capital projects for Energy, Civil Works, Mechanical Engineering, and Equipment, for a FTSE 100 Leader in Sustainable technology.

You'll write and define project strategy, pull together requirements, look at the contractual strategy for packages, and carry out competitive tendering.

The role requires a good understanding of contractual terms e.g. ICHEME suite, FIDIC, or NEC.

Key Requirements
• 7-10 years' experience within a project-based Procurement role
• Capital project procurement management, within industrial /construction projects.
• "Cradle to Grave" Procurement experience, including creation and implementation of strategy.
• Hands-on experience, not Operational (Category) experience.
• Knowledge and experience of EPCM.
• Understanding of IChemE, FIDIC, or NEC contract templates.
• Strong experience gained within matrix, Private Sector organisations.
