Responsibilities
You will play a virtual role in supporting and fostering a positive work environment
Responsibilities include managing the employee life cycle from recruitment to off-boarding, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and providing expert guidance on HR policies and procedures
Design and implement a welcoming and informative onboarding program for new hires
Manage employee relations, including addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts, and providing guidance on company policies
Partner with managers to conduct performance reviews and implement talent development initiatives
Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off
Maintain accurate and secure employee leave records and ensure compliance with leave regulations
Stay up-to-date on federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Advise management on HR compliance practices and maintain comprehensive employee documentation
Conduct or oversee background checks and employee eligibility verifications
Proactively manage HR systems and databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
Generate reports and analyze HR data to support strategic decision-making
Stay current on HR trends, best practices, and new technologies

People Architects is excited to partner with our Stark County based client as we recruit for our newest team member- a Human Resource Administrator.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate, detail-oriented, and growth minded Human Resource Assistant to join our team! You will play a virtual role in supporting and fostering a positive work environment. Responsibilities include managing the employee life cycle from recruitment to off-boarding, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and providing expert guidance on HR policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
• Design and implement a welcoming and informative onboarding program for new hires.
• Manage employee relations, including addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts, and providing guidance on company policies.
• Partner with managers to conduct performance reviews and implement talent development initiatives.

Qualifications (required and preferred):
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year+ of HR Generalist or similar experience.
• SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
• Strong understanding of multi-state employment law and compliance principles.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS (willingness to learn new systems is a plus).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in all matters.
