Hays Accountancy and Finance are recruiting and working in partnership with a large public sector organisation for the appointment of a Deputy Principal Accountant offering a competitive market-leading salary and public benefits. This role will act as an integral member of the finance team, you will be as part of Urban Villages in the Executive Office.
Your new role
Main duties:
• Programme Level Business Cases
• Capital Business Cases
• Oversight of UV Budget
• Governance of the UV Programme
• Input to Ministerial Finance and Governance Queries
What you'll need to succeed
• Qualified accountant with two years post-qualification experience gained within the last 5 years in a finance/governance environment.
• Excellent Excel skills, technical accounting knowledge, financial systems experience.
