Job Description

The Role

As a Cybersecurity Instructor at Coding Temple, you will be responsible for teaching students the core principles and tools of cybersecurity. Your job will include delivering daily lectures, hands-on labs, and guiding students through practical exercises related to network security, ethical hacking, and risk management. You will help students prepare for certifications such as CompTIA Security+ & Certified Ethical Hacker, while providing personalized support throughout their learning journey.

The Responsibilities
• Conduct daily lectures (1-2 hours) and coaching (2 hours) on cybersecurity classes and facilitate practical labs.
• Mentor students one-on-one and in groups to help with learning challenges.
• Provide real-time support and feedback on student projects and assessments.
• Prepare students for certifications by offering study resources and practice tests.
• Conduct workshops and sessions on network security, ethical hacking, and related topics.
• Foster a community of cybersecurity learners who collaborate and support each other.

The Qualifications:
• 2+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity.
• 2+ years of teaching or mentoring experience.
• Knowledge of security protocols, risk management, and ethical hacking.
• Strong understanding of certification pathways (CompTIA Security+, CEH).
• Passion for helping students succeed in cybersecurity careers.

Expected Compensation:
• Participation in Organization Rewards Program (Performance-based commission).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £15.00-£25.00 per hour
