HGV CAT C DRIVER

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Cat C Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods to various locations. The role requires operating a flatbed lorry, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism on the road.

Responsibilities
- Operate a flatbed lorry to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant traffic laws and regulations during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other necessary documentation.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring that all items are transported safely.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to company policies regarding safety, conduct, and vehicle maintenance.

Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is preferred.
- Familiarity with flatbed lorries and their operation is advantageous.
- A valid driver's licence with the appropriate endorsements for commercial driving is essential.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for safe driving.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently and efficiently.

Pay: £42,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
