Senior Technical Accounting Manager

Your new company
I am currently working with a PE-backed, highly acquisitive insurance broking group looking to hire a senior technical accounting manager to join the London office. This role is a key part of the controllership division of the business and will be responsible for addressing complex accounting issues.
Your new role
Reporting to the Director of Technical Accounting, this is a broad and varied role with key technical accounting responsibilities including:
• Accounting Policy manual updates
• Lease Accounting
• Revenue Recognition
• Financial Instruments
• Disposals and acquisitions
• FRS102 to FRS101 transitions
• Ad-hoc complex accounting issues
• IFRS queries
• Share-based payments

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified accountant with ACA training preferred. You will have excellent working knowledge of IFRS and accounting advisory/accounting policy work in practice or industry. You will need strong excel and the ability to communicate complex financials in an understandable and actionable manner.
