Industrial Maintenance Technician (Weekend Day Shift)
Location: Thornton, CO
Work Schedule:
Friday to Sunday, every other Thursday from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Other shifts may become available as necessary.
Role Overview:
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for daily maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of our equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose, inspect, and repair complex machinery in a sanitary food manufacturing environment.
• Using Allen Bradley products, FactorTalk and Studio5000
• Train non-Maintenance technical operators in basic troubleshooting.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical, pneumatic, steam, and basic electrical equipment.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs.
• Adhere to food safety and good manufacturing practices.
• Maintain compliance with SQF standards and use appropriate PPE while meeting all EH&S requirements.
• Execute other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have experience with Allen Bradley products, FactorTalk and Studio5000
• Experience in maintenance within the food manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Motivated, hardworking team player with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.
• Strong mechanical intuition with proficiency in hand tools and repair techniques.
• Ability to work at heights with appropriate fall protection.
• Efficiently manage workload with or without oversight.
• Comfortable working in diverse environments and temperatures with proper PPE.
• Basic math and computer skills, including email communication and using maintenance scheduling systems.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, squat, turn, and walk.
• Sufficient mobility and dexterity to safely use hand and power tools.
Compensation:
Starting at $31.50 per hour, with potential to progress up to $41.50 through our level progression program. A $1.00 weekend day shift differential is also provided. In addition to hourly wages, this position is eligible for quarterly bonuses and equity. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
