Pay range: $28-$35/hourly

Experience: 3+ years of HVAC service experience, 5 to 10 years preferred

Tonnage Experience: Systems of at least 10 tonnage

Position Overview: As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal functioning of commercial HVAC systems for our valued clients. You will leverage your extensive experience and technical expertise to perform maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and installations on HVAC systems ranging from 10-tonnage and above. Your ability to troubleshoot, identify issues, and provide effective solutions will contribute to the satisfaction of our customers and the overall success of our organization.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and servicing of commercial HVAC systems, focusing on systems with at least 10-tonnage
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex HVAC system issues, identifying faults in components and systems
• Perform repairs and replacements of HVAC equipment, including compressors, motors, fans, electrical wiring, and controls
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate installation and maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients, explaining findings, and offering recommendations for repairs and upgrades
• Maintain accurate records of all service and maintenance work performed, including parts used, labor hours, and system performance
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working in various commercial environments to ensure the safety of yourself and those around you
• Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in commercial HVAC systems to continually enhance your skills and knowledge

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in HVAC strongly preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on commercial HVAC service experience; 5 to 10 years strongly preferred
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems, including knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration components
• Experience working with commercial HVAC systems of at least 10-tonnage
• EPA certification for handling refrigerants
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work overtime and flexible hours as needed
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in various environmental conditions
