Amundsen Task Details

Complete a two-part audio recording task using Appen's proprietary mobile application and start earning:
• Part 1: Scripted - Read and record a provided script alone (15 - 18 short prompts).
• Part 2: Conversational - Engage in a natural conversation with a friend or family member. Topics and script guides will be provided (2 conversational scripts).

Duration

The entire task will take approximately 1 - 1.5 hours, including reading guidelines and recording your voice.

Payment

Earn USD$50 upon successful completion of the task. Payment is contingent upon your recordings passing our quality checks according to the provided instructions. The $50 is for the entire session, including both parts of the task.

Key Requirements
• Native speaker of British English: Scottish English accent
• Aged 18 and above
• Have a friend or family member who could do the conversational part of this project (any accent would be okay).
• Have access to a smartphone

This role is a project-based opportunity with Appen, where you will join the Appen CrowdGen Community as an Independent Contractor. If selected, you will receive an email from Appen regarding the creation of an account using your application email address. You will need to log in to this account, complete the setup requirements, and proceed with your application for this project-based role.
