POSITION TITLE: Quality Technician

REPORTS TO: Quality Manager

Summary

Responsible for facilitating and implementing quality assurance standards and systems for the company.

Schedule

3rd Shift :

Monday - Friday ( 10pm - 6am) $1 Shift Differential

Weekends ( As Needed)

Duties And Responsibilities
• Facilitate and administer quality management systems for the company.
• Develop, implement, and coordinate company-wide quality training programs for all company personnel.
• Coordinate communications between all company departments regarding quality related issues.
• Resolve quality problems as needed with vendors, customers, quality representatives, and company personnel.
• Review quality assurance standards, existing policies & procedures to evaluate effectiveness of company quality programs.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED.

Computer literate

Candidates Are PREFERRED Who Offer The Following

Prior work experience in the corrugated industry.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Able to read a tape measure.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Employee is regularly required to walk and talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
