Senior Financial Accountant

Our client offers various digital identity protection solutions designed to safeguard consumers and enhance business operations and offerings. They aim to provide businesses and consumers with the tools to protect their daily interactions, communications, and commerce without unnecessary personal information collection or disclosure.

About The Role

Providing support to key stakeholders across the company
Performing Senior product and cost accounting journals, analysis and reconciliations
Processing Customer invoicing and transactions
Performing GL and Subledger account reconciliations
Processing Payroll, payroll journals and payroll reconciliations
Processing expense reports
Actual versus budget analysis
Analysing financial data to identify trends and provide insights
Project accounting and Software Development capitalisation
Month-end close journals and reconciliations
GST, Sales Tax and income tax work paper preparation, reconciliation and filing
Supporting cost accounting by tracking and analyzing costs associated with business operations
Supporting the development of budgets and financial forecasts
Assisting with audit paper compilation
Assisting with the preparation of Accounting memos and adoption of USGAAP accounting standards
Assistance with Management and Financial reporting
Other tasks as assigned

The Ideal Candidate

BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
CA/ CPA qualified or studying towards
5+ years of accounting-related experience
Audit and /or Tax experience
Proficient with NetSuite ERP
